Web interface

When the web server is enabled in Web Interface Settings, Sensible Laps runs its own web server on the timing PC and shows the current race progress in a browser.

Because it's just a web page, you can open it on as many devices as you like — TV screens around the venue, a phone in the pits, a laptop on the rostrum — and scale it to suit each screen.

Local only — not the same as Live Publish

The web interface is served from the timing PC and is only reachable on the same network. Publishing timing to the internet is a separate feature — see Live Publish Settings.

Can't reach it from another device?

If the page loads on the timing PC but not on other devices, it's almost always the Windows Firewall blocking the port — allow the web server port through, then try again.
