Divisions

A division is a group of contestants who race together — in most clubs this is a class (for example 2WD Buggy, Touring Stock, 1/8 Nitro). An event can run any number of divisions, each with its own entries, schedule and results.

This section covers the ways a division can be organised:

  • Division Mode — how contestants are seeded and moved between rounds, and how the division is scored.
  • Inner Divisions — splitting a single class into skill-based tiers (A, B, C finals) that are ranked as one division.
  • Split Divisions — dividing a large field across multiple heats when there are more entries than a single race can hold.
  • Division Days — assigning divisions to particular days of a multi-day event so the schedule only shows what's running that day.

Tip

If you're not sure which options you need, start in basic Event Mode — it picks sensible division defaults for you, and you can revisit these settings later from Division Detail.
