Sounds
Sensible Laps can play audio at the track so the race director and drivers get spoken and tonal cues without watching the screen — the countdown to a start, the finish, and custom messages triggered part-way through a race.
Sound is configured in three places:
- General Sounds — the built-in cues (race start countdown, race finish, warnings) and their master on/off and volume.
- Delay Actions — messages triggered a set time after a race starts (for example, "two minutes remaining").
- Race Actions (Time) — messages triggered at a fixed point on the race clock.
- Race Actions (Laps) — messages triggered when a driver reaches a given lap count.
Tip
Actions announce over the venue PA if the timing PC's audio is routed there. Test your levels with Simulation Mode before an event so the countdown isn't the first time you hear it live.
